About

CNS|CRO is a contract research organization specializing in proprietary CNS animal models. Formed in 2009 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Neurodyn Inc., CNS|CRO operates out of the National Research Council of Canada’s laboratories, in close proximity to the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island. Through this ideal location CNS|CRO is able to capitalize on its partnerships with one of the leading veterinary schools in Canada, and the Canadian Government’s research infrastructure.

CNS|CRO offers highly predictive, proprietary models of Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, epilepsy, schizophrenia, and stroke. In addition, the skilled team at CNS|CRO are able to provide the most up to date behavioural testing, neuropathology and selected imaging.

CNS|CRO’s suite of exclusive proprietary animal models and neurological services function as an extension of our client’s drug development process, allowing evaluation of drug candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner. Looking forward CNS|CRO aims to expand our existing service offering in Asia, Europe and elsewhere through joint venture, research collaborations and licensing opportunities.
